Best equipment for areas that are highly reflective
So this has been an ongoing battle throughout the years i have been doing this. I wanted to see if anyone has any insight on new equipment that does well in highly reflective areas. Sometimes i work in areas that are covered in stainless steel or in electronic areas with tons of monitors. The cleanup is a nightmare and adding powder/alcohol mixture is not an option. Any amazing new technical breakthroughs or is this still a struggle?

I can just share a short video about our ZF5016A. Plants scanning was always a challenge with highly reflective surfaces.
I can share some scans with you if you are interested.

Re: Best equipment for areas that are highly reflective
For close up areas, I've heard of talc/alcohol solution used in a spray bottle, you can give stainless steel a quick spritz and the thin coating of talc will give a cleaner result. alcohol evaporates to just leave the talc.
Haven't tried myself, but heard it being used in a distillery/brewery before for their shiny metal tanks.
Spray down with water for a quick clean.

There are over the counter solution for reflective areas scan like Aesub sprays but am sure spraying large objects is not practical.

Re: Best equipment for areas that are highly reflective
I actually got to a jobsite that has been scanned with a ZF5016A about half a year ago.. well it was the building next to my actual job, but I did receive the ZF Data.
Figured Id try a quick scan of the ZF site with my VLX as I`ve found it to work great on reflective surfaces. Heres I preview of the data I captured attached with the VLX ( i just scanned that yesterday).
Ill compare it to the ZF data in a few days. //edit
just imported the ZF data and took a screen from a similar position:
