HI all,
Right now I am using FARO SCENE 2019.2_setup_3806 released on 2nd April 2020.
But i am having some issue with this version and earlier version of 2019 and the same problems reported on this forum by many others.
I am finding earlier version of SCENE i think 2018 or 7.1 which is stable, please help me find out.
Regards,
Karan

Re: Help me find out Most Stable Version of FARO SCENE
I'm on version 6.2.2.7 and find it the best release for me. It is also the last i had maintenance on. I stopped paying $$$ at faro from then on.
I only use this for registration so all the new bells and whistles are not important for me.

Re: Help me find out Most Stable Version of FARO SCENE
I have had similar problems with any version 2019.
I find that 2018.0.0.648 is very stable so I use that pretty much all the time.
I do like some of the features in 2019 but once you open a project in that version you are pretty much committed to use 2019 from then on. So I make a copy of the project if I think that I will need the 2018 version again.
One of the most important aspects lost in the 2019 version is the ability to measure to object from a dimension line that I made e.g. offsets from a straight line between two points to objects in between the end points.
