Display of scans with and without RGB value

Post by mlang »

I have a problem with Arena4D. I have taken a series of scans with color information and another without. Now when I import both groups as VPC into Arena4D, I can only globally change the display to grayscale or RGB. Unfortunately, the scans that do not have any color information are then displayed as monochrome without any structure. In Recap as well as in Cyclone, the scans without color information are simply displayed in grayscale. Does Arena4D also offer this option?

Thanks for your help!

Matthias

Hello Matthias,

If you load all the point clouds into Data Studio, select a point cloud, right click properties and select Colour or Intensity. Leave the paint icon green (top of screen) and the point clouds will respect the colour option in the setting.

Please let me know if you have any issues in performing this.

Regards
Matt
