HDR TEST WITH FARO S350 SCANNER

Post by LPaulCook » Mon Jul 08, 2019 6:55 pm

I did an indoor test with my S350 scanner using the various HDR photo settings, I did the same scan using each setting i.e. 1 exposure, 2 exposures, 3 etc... here's the results. Look at the details in the window areas and outside thru the window. The HDR make a huge improvement over just one exposure. The last two images are using the Night setting which I was not very happy with at all.... night 1 exposure and night 5 exposures.

Thanks for your feedback.
For my experience 1x and 2x is useless. But sometimes I get bad collage results with HDR and, if zoom-details are important, I prefer a partially overexposed photo (if the area overexposed is not important.
What about the new features that takes photos rapidly?
