CTRL Creep

Post by DillonE » Thu Apr 11, 2019 7:08 pm

Hey all,

I've been using Scene for a couple of months now, and have this reoccurring, seemingly random problem. When working in Pan mode, if I press the CTRL key to switch to Examine mode, my model will 'creep' in any given direction without stopping. I have to close all current views and reopen them, hoping for a stationary model. I cant seem to replicate it on purpose, nor find a setting for it.

Occasionally the creep continues after pressing the CTRL key, sometimes only when the button is depressed. Any thoughts on how to fix this/what's causing it?

Any chance that you have a 3D space mouse attached to the computer? Sometimes my 3D mouse will cause a slow drift when changing from pan mode to examine mode, or fly mode.

Dcacioppo,

I have used a space mouse in the past and had the drift, but in the instance of my posting there was no additional mice attached to my computer.
