NOT attending CES2019 in a week.

Hopefully someone else will report on the 180,000 people, many interesting booths, and the traffic jams. It will be more interesting and less
noisy, checking out 3D cinema in HNL and saving $700 per night at the Venetian and the $2,500 round trip economy UAL ticket from HNL to LAS.

Paul

You should attend and report on CES2019 since you could drive it in less than a day.

Whoops, missed it, Dennis.
Oh well, it's still $700/night! LOL.

The $700 per night at the Venetian was my "inside deal", so I could have given it to you as a friend if you were attending. I think it is now $1,100 per night the last time I checked or you could stay next week when CES 2019 is over for $127 per night.

Well...here's one big "Hey Google" announcement made there! Soon we may be able to control our scanners with voice commands via our smartphones!

One of the items of interest to LSF was the Best of Innovation Award for the Leica BLK3D at CES2019, which I saw at HXGN2018 (7 months earlier). It seems that I did not miss much this year at CES2019.

CES2020 will probably be the year of 3D tablets and 3D TV without glasses. Being able to view 3D video from your pocket without glasses in 2019 is impressive if you have not seen it.
