Post by LPaulCook » Wed Feb 14, 2018 7:09 am

Early on i saw a spreadsheet of xyz data picked in WebShare2Go by FARO. I cannot find that any More. I can still pick points but only one at a time. So,
how can l pick a number of points in WebShare2Go and export then?

Hi

If you open a project and create a measurement (single point or multiple points).

Once created look at the properties and then click copy to clipboard.

You can then paste these coordinates into excel or any other document.

If you create measurements in the overview map all z values are zero but in thew scan view you will see 3d coordinates

Update,

When i say multiple points i mean to use the measure area tool

this will allow you to keep a running dimension for a full list of coordinates

Webshare 2go isn't designed to "save" points, you can take measurements by using the tools, but once you close the software, the points are lost. You would need to create the measure points in SCENE and export to webshare if you want them to be available for others to see. I wish that they could be saved in webshare also.
