Mesh Creation from Scene 6 to 7

What has changed from scene 6 to 7 when I select points and create a mesh based on selection? Anyone else noticing the meshes are more "globby" and less accurate?

I have tried a 1ft x 1ft section and the highest settings a can apply in scene mesh creation, however, I still get the same similar mesh.

Here is the scan close up on curb

Solid blue: is the mesh line
Dotted light blue: is the scan points

To me it looks like the mesh is taking a larger average of the " corners and blending them, I noticed this in Scene 6 but not as severe.

Gosh.... the mesh export off selection is just horrible from scene 6 to 7

Hi Devin,

there has been no significant change from SCENE 6 to 7 which should lead to those results. Maybe you have accidently seleced some points far away which would lead to coarse meshes?

You should try the following:
* Open the project in SCENE 6
* Create a clipping box around the points you want to mesh
* Save the project
* Open the project in SCENE 6 and also SCENE 7 and start the meshing via the contex menu of the clipping box
* Compare the results
