Hello guys,
I am wondering if there is any documented issues or a way to fix an import that just hangs at 8%-9% for a single station scan from a trimble scanner.
If exporting or converting the scan to a PTX (structured) or even an E57 that is not structured it comes in with not issues (albeit there is not normal info so its hard to work with).
Thank you
importing E57 (trimble) hangs

Re: importing E57 (trimble) hangs
Hi Augusto,
I understand this reply is very delayed - usually stuff like this gets handled in a matter of hours by our support team if you email them at [email protected]
There are a few known issues with e57 as it's only been somewhat recently that we've started to support that file format. Performance is something that's been problematic as e57 supports multiple individual point clouds, texture and many other parameters generally unnecessary for DX (intensity and other things for drone-based LIDAR, for example).
The best thing to do in this case, always, is share data with our support team for debugging.
