I do 100 dark point filter.K.Ronald wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 4:14 pmSince the areas are from 40 scan points to 100+, I don`t have the time to do step by step filtering (also have to check every target of the area after every step and they are usually many)Emanuele wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 4:08 pm In general, it is better to use one filter at a time, proceeding step by step.
For the dark points filter (more aggressive) you can check the lower value of the points you want to keep; proceeding through successive iterations you can check what it has eliminated.
For "dispersion" and "moving objects" filters there should be no particular problems of elimination.
I have this basic settings straight out of Scene when processing the scans. scene_2019_settings.JPG
Are there better settings than this?
Also is there any way I can process/ use filters on scans without losing anything done after; for example registration, scan alignment, etc ?
Thank you,

If you have a X series scanner in your fleet consider [strongly) 1m minimum distance filter. S series deal better with close range. Max range depends on project. I play from 30m to 150m using logic in the scope of work and if I
I plan to do long range c2c, outdoor vs indoor scans etc. But at all mean if you dont have a good knowledge of what you are doing keep at least 70m distance.
Yes you can always filter after registration without having things move.
