Instead of being just a typical video probe it appears to have interchangeable tips that perform a structured light type of scan. I can imagine numerous applications for such a small device.

I have been digging through the spec sheet in an attempt to understand accuracy, range, resolution, etc, but it that information has been hard to interpret. Does anyone have any experience with these that can shed some light on these?

I am also curious to see if the point cloud can be exported so multiple overlapping point clouds could be registered together in another piece of software.
