Navisworks or Recap

Post by TShock »

Hi, All,

my company currently uses recap for viewing and measuring for our projects. we are having serious issues with crashing every time a file is opened. someone suggested using Navisworks instead. any pros or cons I should know about? your help is greatly appreciated!!!

If you are looking at the point cloud then it is fine, but if you want the mirror balls then you have to use recap

it is kind of weird now that you guys actually make me think about it

you can reference in RCP's when in Navis but cant get realviews

but then in recap you can reference in navis files but ONLY in realviews and cant navigate with it on in 3D...

seems like they couldnt make up their mind
