I was interested in using e572las.exe as stand alone light tool to convert some files and make some experiments.
I've downloaded LasTool.zip but looking inside the project with VisualStudio 2015 I don't see any e572las project.
Am I missing anything? Is e572las.exe generated by this project? Moreover Visual Studio 2015 reports a lot of errors importing the solution and a compilation seems to be impossible. Is it possible to find somewhere directly the e572las.exe file?
Thanks in advance for any help/clarification.

Hello from @LAStools,
to get the latest version of the e572las tool you should maybe get the most recent LAStools version (190728 or newer) which you can download here:

Re: e572las.exe availability
I'm only using the Laslib part of lastools myself, but I notice there is a CMAKEFILES.TXT in the root so to create your visual studio 2015 project and solution you should use CMAKE against this file. I'm using VS2017 here and have had no issues. I'd imagine the build will be robust if you go with CMAKE.aborgnino wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 3:27 pm I was interested in using e572las.exe as stand alone light tool to convert some files and make some experiments.
