Exporting individual images/frames from RTC360

Post by riso2k4 »

I'm looking to see if anyone has been successful in finding or extracting the individual images/frames from the HDR cameras on the RTC360? I'm not talking about the pano, but the individual photos themselves from a setup position. I've managed to do this through the .e57, but it's significantly smaller in file size and resolution.

Thanks for all the help!

I'm also very much interested in finding a way to capture the full photos, rather than the finalised scene.
The full HDR scene (or pano) would be gorgeous, but all we can get is that photo scaled down to the resolution of the point cloud. I'm hoping for a way to capture or export the full resolution blended HDR scene before it gets downscaled.

Keep your eyes peeled this month, before it's out we should get a MAJOR software update across the HDS board, including new features which are very exciting - pano image export to name one. It's sure to be a good update, so worth getting excited for! watch this space.
Regards,

Tim

I saw a webinar posted for April 25th to go over the new update/features. But does anyone know when the actual update is slated for release?

Is there a solution for this yet? We're interested in exporting just the high resolution 360 panos from that the scanner has captured if its possible...

Hi Chris, you can export the panos from an updated version, you will need a Publisher Pro license to do so.

Thanks Tim, I tried it out using a demo license and it works as we'd hoped. Now to decide if it's worth a publisher pro license...
