What is going on with Recap?
I just wanted to know what is happening (or not happening) with any development from Autocad on Recap and the whole point cloud effort? Is it at a mature stage that no longer needs development? Does anyone know who is on the team?

Re: What is going on with Recap?
From which point of view?
The SDK to handle RCP point clouds is still getting improved and they are currently requesting new features.
I'm sure this will influence ReCap itself as well.
Guess would be wise to talk to Michael Mizuno:

I'm not so sure they are working on features; maybe bugs, but this idea has been around since last August

Re: What is going on with Recap?
The post here mentions recap engineers being cut which sounds like a project being moved from active development to maintenance mode.

Re: What is going on with Recap?
Thanks for the information. I had heard about people getting cut and wasn’t sure how active or responsive things were.

Re: What is going on with Recap?
It's somehow funny that this feature is already available in the code, they just don't have a tool on the GUI side.surveypm wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 11:29 am I'm not so sure they are working on features; maybe bugs, but this idea has been around since last August
