I have an interesting issue to solve which folks might have some ideas for the best way. I have a scan project of a warehouse with round columns. I’d like to extract the center point coordinates of each column (close to the base) using only SCENE and/or a free SCENE app.
I haven’t found a way to identify the center of a circle in SCENE and I want to find such coordinates so I can adjust the rotation prior to exporting the project to Recap.
Any ideas are appreciated.

I haven’t ever used it, but I think scene can make cylinders from the points. That’d give you the xy of the central axis.

Yes, thanks. I forgot about Pipe Fit tool. It's a little tedious and I see you should have a good Quick View of the column to be able to pick the points, but it does give you the axis.

You can use a clipping box to look inside the outside edge then dimension the diameter then set a point on the center of the dimension line which is where the distance bubble is connected to the diameter distance line as that is the radius point.
