This may already exist as I am new to Scene. Be able to turn off or make transparent the cross arrow during visual registration. It blocks the view of the point cloud making visual registration more difficult.

This is a reach but (again I'm new to Scene) reverse the mouse scroll wheel zoom feature to match every other software :D

Slewis33 - you can already invert the mouse scroll wheel functionality:

New interface - Settings>Views>3D View there is a tick box
Old interface - Tools>Options>Navigation Tab there is a tick box

You can change the size of the Correspondence View arrow using the + and - keys on your keyboard number pad (you need to click on it the arrow first, it won't work just by having that scan highlighted).

Thanks VJDub, perfect.
Next Question, Is there a way to default the size of the correspondence view arrow to be much smaller?

What a great thread!
Excellent suggestions and also fun to see the responses directly from the FARO software development team.

Dear Faro Developers,

I love new Edge Filter! It makes the data so much cleaner after applying it to the scan.

But being forced to run it separately, after/before preprocessing cost us time...
Would it be possible to run it while preprocessing the scans in batch in the next update?

Anyway I think it should be performed by the scanner somehow because those points on the edges are wrong measured...

Regards
Maciej

The edge filter can be set to run as default for all scans or batch processing in your settings window. You can also batch process scans with the edge filter in the pre-processing tab. These options are in the new style UI FYI. Many recent improvements to SCENE are only in the new UI.
