E57 export from Cyclone

Post by robin ault »

I have a question for the hive mind, we a large amount of data (600+ scanns) in Cyclone Reg (new version today) and our client wants a archive copy of the raw unregistered data as a e57. Is there a easy way of exporting from cyclone the data as separate e57 (one for each scan that will march the original raw data straight from the scanner). Never been asked for this before (in over 10 years of cyclone use) but have has a good look and the only way i can see is to export each scan one at a time .

cheers

Open each raw scans model space and export/name them manually to match the original scan name.... :(

I can do that but was hopping not to have to do them one at a time.

There is no other way - i think a lot of people are hopeful for a batch export that keeps the original file name!

If you can export a single E57 with cloud compare you can batch split the file, but last time I checked the names were not retained.
