This is an image of one of our larger projects. Overall length is over 3800 feet. Done with a Leica P40 on resolution 6 (13 minute scans) and external images. So far a little over 220 scans with the project file of 1.2TB. 63.5 Billion points. Starting to do cleaning of the scans. We were in the lake to scan the retaining walls as they plan to drain the lake and repair any issues. Lake was built in the late 1700's for the iron forges.Scan of lake and small town in Pennsylvania.

A few addition images to show detail. Black and white is a gray scale of one scan and the other 2 are our panos imposed on the scan data.

Where in PA is that? I have friends in State College we have visited a number of times. PA is a beautiful and very green state.
Thanks for sharing. That's a lot of data!

This site is located in Boiling Springs just southwest of Harrisburg.
I know 13 minute setups seem overkill, but we are going for detail. It is pretty much our standard, but then we are not worried like most about budgets.

Wanted to share a few photos of the area we scanned. Notice the 2 swans in the one picture. We were slightly worried that they may attack as they go after the ducks and geese.

Update to the project. 267 total scans, which isn't much to most who do a thousand, but these were 13 minute scans, resolution 6 on the Leica P40. Total points were 86 billion and 1.495TB file.

Just an update to this project. It stands now at a bit over 2.08TB's. Finalizing the project and getting ready to publish to Jetstream. Been interesting working on such a large project.

I’m curious about the size of the Jetstream file...
