Hello everyone,
Have you ever wanted to scan a location for the longest time and one day it finally happens? I've been in the industry for 10 years and living in Houston I have spent the majority of my time in refinery and chemical plants. During this time, I have always wanted to do a project inside the NRG stadium. This year it finally happened!
This scan took place overnight after a concert. We arrived onsite at midnight and completed 22 scans with a C10 on medium resolution (no color due to power washing mist, people in the area). We left the site at 6:30am, data was registered with Cyclone 9.2, cloud was converted into a Revit model and animation created using Cloud Compare / Adobe Premiere Pro.

Re: NRG Stadium Houston Texas
Thanks! It was so much fun. After all this time I still get amazed at how much data we can pick up.
Funny thing what brought this project on is they built a new stage for the rodeo. Once constructed it was too big to fit into the stadium door. They had to modify the entrance.
