Check the 3D views of each individual scan - you'll probably find one is empty. We remove the data from mirrors using a distance filter, but if you make the selection then right-click outside the yellow area instead of inside it you can accidentally filter out the whole scan instead.

Hello, vjDub.
Thank you for your advise.

As you say, the Overview Map is done well by deleting scan which has no information.

Thank you.

We will have a fix for this problem in the next service release for SCENE. The process of creating the overview map will be improved and this issue should no longer occur after the patch.

Will we have the ability to create an overview map of a multi story building - by level?

This would be great. Previously we have created a separate webshare for each floor and put them in the same folder so that they can be accessed from the same main screen, but having a built in way to achieve this would be ideal.

Multi Story Overview Maps can already be created in Scene and be exported to Websharecloud.

Once you have written the overview map, you can export the map at either Scan, cluster or project level. (right Click context and export Overviewmap).

If you have each floor in a main cluster for that building story you will then be able to export that overview map and re-import it as a layout plan, using the import parameters provided in the accompanying text file.

Write these out to websharecloud and they will appear in the bottom left hand corner under layouts.

This is the current process to use but as Daniel Flohr has advised I think this process will be improved in future release.
