webshare 2 go app
Hi All
Very pleased with scene 7 so far. However when i open webshare 2 go i get the following problem with the overview map not opening correctly. All the scans are in the positions they should be in. I have tried creating the data again to with the same results. I have tried loading it onto various laptops and towers with the same results I have had success with less scans. The project i am working on has 114 black and white scans in total. Any help would be appreciated. I have also noticed i am unable to open the project at all on my Mac. Any suggestions on this would help too. thx Ron

Re: webshare 2 go app
Hello Ron,
The square sections would lead me to believe it might be the project point cloud. This is what I would try... If you have created a project point cloud, delete it, then create and upload the webshare data again.
Good Luck,
Cutter Shea

Re: webshare 2 go app
Good morning Cutter
in this case there was no project point cloud produced. However i have now corrected the webshare. What i did was to clean up the history file which was quite large as i manually registered the majority of this project. deleted the original webshare upload and re produce it. And the webshare transfer was spot on.
Thank you and kind regards

Re: webshare 2 go app
If the same 2go data can be opened on Windows without a problem that’s a strong indication that the 2go data transfer worked.Ronsmith1960 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2017 11:23 am Hi

The online manual gives the following tip:
- If Safari does not start, please instead double-click on the file "ws2go.html" in the "web" folder.
In general, Safari must open the “web/ws2go.html” file. That’s all the “Start_WebShare_2Go_2.0_on_Mac.command” command does.
If that still does not work, you could try to update Safari or to reset it to default settings.

Re: webshare 2 go app
we frequently have had this issue in the past. Our go to method for WS2GO is now:
-complete registration in scene
-export registered FLS
-import registered FLS into fresh project.
-create webshare.
We have been plagued by overview map issues since the day we got WS2GO.

Re: webshare 2 go app
If you are updating to Safari 11, this trick is not working, so maybe a bug in the Webshare mac version?
With Safari 10 no problem, copy URL in Firefox works
