Pointools POD Creator problem

Post by bialekwojtek »

Hallo
I have a problem with making automatically .pod file.
I need to export my scans to .ASC file from Ascan and then I
usually import it to pointools one by one. In new project I have a lot of file so it would be a nightmare. I Try PointoolsPOD Creator but it is a problem because it not work while I want to import more than 2 Scans. It making first file 30-40min and then appears an error message. Sometimes when i testing this program(change importing options) it goes well but never with uniform filters option. Also i dont want one file from all of it so regular Pointools is not good.
Before use PODCreator I need to change the name from .asc to .xyz because PODCreator does not supports .asc file. Meybe this is a problem?
Is there any other software to make .pod file automatically or meybe Someone can help me with Pointools software?
Thanks :)

You are correct the PODCreator will not recognise the ASC extension. What is the error message that you are getting? Also what version of the PODCreator have you installed (click on About for details)?
