When you say bells and whistle's do you mean survey functionality? i.e backsight, foresight, resection and traversing

In hindsight I should have been more clear on a couple of areas and I think I am missing a couple more features. Targeting should have included survey functionality.

This is some really interesting feedback. I didn't mean to choose the top 3 to start with but this is a rather informative message your are all sending here.
Thanks to whomever changed the one item to read "survey functionality"

Should you also consider Range, True tilt compensation, Cleanliness of data, Shiney or black surface performance, Ambiguity returns, Wireless controllability

Re: What are the top 3 features in your opinion for a scanne
Range would have been a good one too. I was trying to keep the list relatively short but clearly there are other features that could be vital to some people while not being so important to others. I have a feeling that once we get past 100m, that covers a decent range for what most people do in their work. Of course there are others that might need a Riegl unit out at 6000m, but I believe that list is small.
Thanks!

Yes, it's always nice when a couple of doughnuts turn up
