Re: Prometheus Film - Laser Scanner
Hi chaps,
Matt Y, yes we (Plowman Craven) did the set scanning, head & body scanning on this film..and it was a pretty awesome film to work on. You wouldnt believe the amount of times I have dragged my missus through the end credits!
Matt Mc, long time old chap. We are kind of embracing the twitter thing...a bit...ish. But the old website is still worth a look http://www.plowmancraven.co.uk/vfx

Re: Prometheus Film - Laser Scanner
Hey Chris,
Thanks for proving me wrong in my statement of no one from PCL on the forum!
It seems the stuff that you, Jay and co is keeping you busy in the entertainment side of things. Some good looking projects.
The whole twitter thing really seems to have exploded in the last year or two, especially around BIM in the uk.
Speaking of which, did any of you guys go to AutoDesk's special Skyfall screening last night at the Odeon? Sounds like the Q+A afterwards with the VFX people went down well.

Re: Prometheus Film - Laser Scanner
just watched the movie. Well, I consider it s a piece of crap, Ridley Scott totally failed on this one. But the flying scan just blowed my mind, I replayed the scene twice

Re: Prometheus Film - Laser Scanner
I loved the film but then I am king of the geeks and love anything with aliens and spaceships in it... and scanning.
Chris,
Must be great working on that kind of project, something I would enjoy.
thanks.

If you don't see that there is nothing, then you are kidding yourself.
