Selling Scanner Advice

Post by cgeary »

Hi, All. Our company has a Leica TRK500 mobile mapping unit we need to sell. Does anyone have any advice on where to advertise the unit for sale? I feel like EBay wouldn't get us any results. Any help would be appreciated.

Respectfully,

Chris

Depending on where you are. Laserscanningeurope can host sales of things. I might be wrong but have a look.

We have sold scanners on this Forum and on eBay.

Who makes these decisions in companies to buy a very expensive kit and not long after it's release sells it?

Did you use it for one project only? I'm always baffled when i see these kind of posts and then trying to sell it on ebay. Why bot on facebook marketplace?

I would reach out to your Leica rep and discuss with them as well. We had good luck with selling a piece of equipment by reaching out to the sales rep we purchased the unit from, they knew a buyer who was not able to afford a new unit.
