Colour Balancing Leica Scans - How?

Post by DavidL »

How do I go about this? There is no option in REG360, I'm currently exporting as E57 and then running it through an old version of SCENE.
Is this a feature that you only get in the full cyclone software? What are other Leica software users doing

Reg360 doesn't have this ability yet, though I know Leica is working on adding it for future releases (or so I was told by Hexagon).

This is the power of the LSF, I'd never heard of color balancing - now I'm hoping it gets added into Cyclone. What a great idea!

It's like the greatest feature in SCENE! A single check box that creates magic

Hard to believe Leica don't have something similar

I'm not familiar with the SCENE side of it and how it turns out, but NavVis and their IVION software can produce about the best looking point clouds (from a visual and coloring perspective) I've seen to date. I wish all brands could copy that magic for their software, haha.
