Hi there,
Im new to this forum.
While having readlots of threads, I finally registered to ask questions myself.
We have a client that wants LGS exports with one single UCS or just plain and simple one coordinate system included and activated.
However I cannot get 360 to export it like this.
It alway exports with two UCS with one being local and active and the other the coordinate system that I want.
Thanks in advance.

Re: LGS export, single UCS
With LGS files, they have the ability to hold multiple UCS's as well as the Applied Control saved to your project. Before you export, just be sure you don't have any custom UCS's created and saved to the project so when you export, only your Applied Control will be active as the default coordinate system when opening the LGS files. With LGS files, they will always export the active or applied control/coordinate system, but they will also always export with the default coordinate system so your first setup in the project will be at the origin of 0,0,0. When you open the LGS file in either TruView or CloudWorx plugins or 3DR or any software that can ingest LGS files, you can always select the coordinate system or control that you want to be active. There is no way to delete the default, auto created coordinate system though. Those will always be within the file type. If you export virtually any other file type from Reg360+, the applied control will be the only coordinates exported or if you have a custom UCS that's active, I believe that will override the applied control at export.robert_tr61 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2023 1:51 pm Hi there,

Re: LGS export, single UCS
ok thanks a lot, this looks like a 360 problem.
My UCS list is empty but still 2 different systems are exported.
Next time I need this I will use Cyclon core.
There this problem is not present.

good to know as well. I don't use Core a whole lot, so I didn't realize that issue was specific to Reg360+.robert_tr61 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2023 6:04 pm ok thanks a lot, this looks like a 360 problem.
