I have a very large project of over 100 x scans which has had numerous attempts at registering and transforming to datum. Early on when I thought things were looking good, I created a trimmed down cloud from the project cloud in the production tab.
Since then, I have had to go back and re-register scans and re-transform to datum.
Now when i go back to the production tab, the original created clouds are obviously confused and corrupted after shuffling scans around.
How / can i get a new project cloud from my re-registered scans in the registration tab?
All i thought was to export scans to e57 then import them in to a new project. any ideas?

Re: Realworks: updating of project clouds in production tab
G'day Andrew,
many of our clients use *.rmx files in order to update the orientation within a given Realworks project.
It's been a while since I've used RW myself, but I do remember that you can export rmx files (in RW or elsewhere) and later on import them. Every rmx file contains registration parameters for individual scans.
I hope this trickery saves your say.
Cheers
Daniel

Re: Realworks: updating of project clouds in production tab
Thanks for the quick reply Daniel,
Yes, I see the rmx export option, and had not know of it before now.
I couldn't quite get my head around how to use them in this instance, so I ended up just exporting the (correctly) registered tzf scans to pts files on a hard drive.
I then closed all projects and opened up the pts files. It loaded up eventually and gave me the required project cloud in the production tab. Saved the project and then started the data extraction, etc.
Regards, Andrew.
