Re: Export clean scans
TRW can export to rcp directly but I prefer to export the scans as individual e57 files and load them to recap skipping registration.
Detailed steps:
In registration mode, select the entire project and click Home/Export/Convert TZF scans..
"do you want to process all stations?" : yes
select options: Output files: E57, Folder: (select folder to hold the E57 files), Sampling type: Sampling by step, step 1, filtering: (none), OK
When TRW is ready, start Recap
click New project / Import point cloud
project name: (give a name), place to save your files (give path to folder)
click "select folder to import" and navigate to the folder holding your e57 files
scan settings: filtering: minimal, advanced: (unselect decimation). Click "import files.
files start importing. Hover over "auto register scans" and select "skip registration"
Go get yourself some coffee, or if your project is large, have a long lunch

Or just leave the office for a week or two, if your project really large...mikajahkola wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 8:21 pm Go get yourself some coffee, or if your project is large, have a long lunch

Re: Export clean scans
Recap will pick the bubble images from the e57 files.
If you would export a single e57 file from production mode you would get the unified point cloud only.
