Hi,
I've got a pointcloud imported with the floor level at 47.725. I want to change that level to 10.000m.
How do i do this. The transformation calculator is a bit of a mystery to me.
Greetings,
Lieven

Re: adjust only z-value
Hi,
sorry for the late response. First, if the floor should be at 10000 m and in the pointcloud system it is at 47,725 m, you need to shift the pointcloud in Z direction by 10000.0 - 47.725 = 9952,275 m.
You have 2 options to do this in PointCab
1. If you import the scan project you can open the advanced options and shift the hole pointcloud in x,y and z direction. Type 9952,275 m for the Z coordinate and start import
2. Use the align tool and create a element in the top view. In the JobEditor set the center x,y and all angles to 0.0. Becaurse the align tool shifts the origin, not the pointcloud, type -9952,275m in the Z component. Apply the settings and the hole system is shifted properly.
Hope that helps,
bets regards
Richard
