Average price/sq.ft. scan to BIM

Post by J272 »

Hi guys, my company needs to provide a rough quote to a client to do a scan-to-BIM for a project of around 100,000 sq. Ft. in a hospital in eastern Canada. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of documentation on the project. We need to model everything that is MEP, architecture and structure. Are any of you work with a rough average of $ USD or $ CAD / square foot ? If so, what does it look like? Do you include the survey in that price?

Thank you for your feedback.

We're able to support this project quite handily at ONSITE3D. Largest fleet of 3D scanners in Canada, in-house modeling team, and tight survey for every job we do. Sent you a PM with contact info if you want to discuss a proposal.

Just like Tommy said we can do this job for you if you want just pm me the info hahaha

As for your question I am suprised you even asked this. Just estimate the job as you would normaly do and divide that number by the square foot of the building. We had a client that wanted such an estimate for any building he owned and uppon request. We were fortunate to have done 10+ project for that client so we just took all our previous jobs and made an average for that client. It is a very speficific number as per YOUR team and ability to do the work.
