FARO® AS-BUILT™ Modeler Software is a tool that enables AEC professionals to extract building information, such as CAD and BIM geometry, to be used from 3D data into any CAD system, even if it does not support point cloud data.

I'm gonna test it.

I see that we can export DFX from this platform. Is this the only way we can get the generated content into the Revit platform? I was hoping that we would be able to manipulate the data once it was placed into Revit.

Thanks for your question concerning this 'new' software product from FARO. Many people are curious about its pros and cons. Is it just a repackaging of tools and workflows, or something quite useful and greatly needed in this industry? Is it a 'must have' or a 'nice try, no cigar'?
