Post by SAttaya »

The manual I have is Txt-Dxf export - Revision 01 – 23 Oct 2015

Will there be a version for 7.0?

Oliver,

We use it to export one line per target sphere with:
* scan name
* sphere/target name
* X
* Y
* Z
and then crunch those in SA or Excel.
(would like to get distance

Well, I just tried it with 7.0.2.5 and it seems to work at least with the
parameters I tried on a project with one scan and 6 auto found targets.
Does anyone know why it's not in the Faro AppCenter any more?

Hi Steve.

We seem to imagine different things. I was refering to the DXF export from SCENE.
I am not sure if I understand correctly what your question is referring to.

Hello,

This is probably our export plugin. We are changing the brand name currently, this is why it has been removed from the store.

This plugin was available for free. It should still work on Scene 7.xx.

It should be available again soon. However, here's a link to download it:

Yan - Thanks - it does seem to work as I said in a later post.

Oliver,
basically we'd like to analyze targeting/registration data out of Scene.
Things like get individual RMS's for a registration and know which target(s)
is contributing to the greatest error.
Ability to change weight of target based on distance and fit, etc.
remove target from one registration (anti-correspondence) and
get new RMS with stats for other targets being updated.

Distance is obviously one of the factors that would want to make you
weigh an individual scan more or less.

Goodness of fit the same thing at approx same distance (actually a band
from the scanner, or maybe even a function of the distance to the target
from the scanner and the target(s)).

getting the scanner locations and the target properties (# points, distance,
position dev, scan point dist
scan point drift, xyz, radius deviation, method (faro auto or manually selected, etc).

just my 2¢s.

Hi Steve and all.

The updated Apps of Yan Koch are now available at the 3D App Center.
