This is something that has bothered me for a while. Each object in cyclone has an axis with a three numbered value, eg. (0,0,1) for something that is vertical. This makes sense in terms of a line formaula, for there is an x value a y value and z vlaue for the distance over 1 unit.
There is also a simliar tranformation in the registration diagnostics. What I would like to know is how can I use this number to tranform something from the original scanned coordinates to the registered coordinates. (A formula would be handy).
Cheers
Phill

Re: Using the z axis tranformation
Hi Phil
Not sure if this will help. but it converts Vectors to angles distances and bearlings in 3D.
