Hello,
Is there anyway to measure stock pile volume based on an existing surface instead of a reference plane?
Thanks

Re: Volume calculation question
Well, I solved it somehow by made a reference plane below both surface and calculate volumes and deduct the results.

Re: Volume calculation question
sorry i missed this question because i just did that.
intersect ground contour with stockpile's and then close the hole. i'm assuming you already have the stockpile as a mesh

Re: Volume calculation question
Hi,
the volume tool in PointCab can solve your task, even if the "base" surface is not a plane.
