Great News.
My introduction to 3D scanning was helping the Western Australian Police create a 3D model from scans that they had aquired with a Cyrax scanner.
That was back in 2000, the start of my 3D scanning career

Interesting that they went with the Trimble SX10. Assume they already had Trimble kit?

I actually think the Topcon GTL1000 would have been a better choice, and cheaper

Sorry, I dont know much about Trimble gear.
I saw a TV News story today about the police over there in WA investigating a shooting Murder.(Landsdale)
It is interesting that they seem to be using Faro scanners now instead of the Leica veriety that they had when I was still in WA.
Faro is probably a cheaper solution with less ongoing costs etc.
Plus, lets face it, the internal camera is a hell of a lot better than any camera in a Leica scanner.
