Broken IMP file, can I recover?
I have just finished 180 scans. All registered and ready to go. I closed everything down on cyclone and tried to release the imp file. That’s when it froze so I left it for about 10 mins, it appeared like cyclone had crashed so I did a force quit and restarted. Now cyclone won’t open the file back up again, just crashes the system. Is there any way I can open up a recovery file otherwise this work is all for nothing yeah?

Re: Broken IMP file, can I recover?
Just some ideas
Run a optimise or compact from the database manager
Try a different computer or different version of cyclone. Some of the later ones 9 1.# are semi-compatible with each other.
The Leica guys can sometimes recover imp file, but it normally takes longer than it would just to run them all in again.
Optimise is about my only go to.
Its one of the advantages and disadvatages of the imp file. Becuase its non-sql I think the term is, it can load cloud faster but if it breaks its almost impossible for punters like us to recover.
