Dr Javad Ashjaee has died of Covid-19. He was an important person in the gnss community. I've met him once at intergeo 2018. I don't have any of his gear but he talked with such an enthousiasm about it, he definately had your attention.

Re: Rip Dr. Javad Ashjaee
RIP, he was one of the great innovators in the GPS industry in its earlier years. Never met the man but caught one of his conference talks some years back and loved his enthusiasm.

Re: Rip Dr. Javad Ashjaee
I second that guys. I used his awesome gear for a while and was on a few conference calls with him. He loved Surveyors and is behind many of the gnss innovations that many/most Surveyors and others now use. I used a 4000 SSE many moons ago for static and rtk, his baby. For a genius he had a lot of personality.
