Guys and Gals,
I have a dream .., which is to take further study specialising in laser scanning and 3d modelling related subject, in Germany ( I heard they have got the best engineering).
Do you guys and girls have recommendation for University and Subject that covers my interest?
Thank You, Tyas

Re: Geoinformation MSc
Hello Tyas,
If you want to specialise in 3D scanning or 3D reality capturing, then Europe is a good start for academic fulfillment (But I guess you can find similar MSc in Brisbane or Melbourne). To my knowledge, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherland, Italy and UK provide very good geomatic basis to evolve with 3D capture. If you speak only english, then Delft (Netherland), UCL or Glasgow (UK) can interest you specifically as main courses are given in english. In Belgium (Liège) we specialise in 3D scanning / photogrammetry, database and GIS, but you will need to speak french to follow courses. In Germany, to my knowledge Heildeberg, Bonn, Stuttgart and Darmstadt have a 3D scan research unit and good Geodesie/Geoinformation MSc program. Else, you may have to follow a more architecture-related MSc that is linked with construction and BIM modelling.
I hope I could enlight your MSc search a little !
Kind regards,

Re: Geoinformation MSc
Hi Tyas,
I am actually starting my M.Eng. Geoinformation in Mainz, Germany in a couple of weeks. For me its part-time, next to my job.
If you are looking at going full time, check out FH-Mainz or Frankfurt University of applied sciences.
