Demo Files

Post by scottgrieve » Fri May 31, 2019 3:04 pm

Hello Everyone,

I am doing some research into laser scanning in forensics however I wont have access to a device for a month or so. Is there any best platform that i could use in the meantime to browse on with demo files?

Thank you,

Scott

Why not try the Jetstream viewer where you can access some demo data on our server over the internet?

Are you looking for forensic files to demo on? I know when I did forensic work we could not share them. Or are you looking for any files to demo? Or looking for software to demo?

Hi JeffT,

Ideally it would be forensic files of crime scenes or similar. I understand though this may be tricky due to the nature of most cases. For software I am just looking for the best to browse the files easily and also capable of observing the reflective value.

Best Wishes,
Scott

Hi Phil,

I have now downloaded The Jetstream Viewer 1.5 , Enterprise and Admin. It has gave me the server: localhost and Port: 9090.

When i try and connect it comes up -

"Could not connect:
Check that a server is running on the specified machine: 'localhost'.
And that the server is listening to the given port: 9090.
Otherwise, this is most likely due to license issues. "

Do i need a specific license to connect to a server?

Best Wishes,
Scott
