Thank you for the feedback.
I will create an official LSF poll with the intent to gauge interest in the idea.
Given the interest, it would be the scanning community that determines the information deemed most valuable in performing an equal product comparison such as those listed in this feed.
You all are the expert users and I greatly value your opinions on what matters the most to you when evaluating or comparing a new product.

The survey has a problem. It uses a blanket condemnation premise.

The survey just asks just one question where any potential purchaser will be looking at lots of questions, e,g,
Cost
Accuracy and noise levels
Number of points per second, acquisition speed
Availability of HDR images, intensity
Weight, portability
Registration and processing software options and cost
Warranty, training and support
Track record in the field / reliability
etc...

Hi Chris,Chris Kercheval wrote: ↑Wed Jul 11, 2018 4:21 pmIf you are in the Reality Capture Industry, please take a moment to voice your opinion through this poll. With a collective effort, we can all play a part in being better-educated consumers and help this growing technology reach a broader market.

Wouldnt it be better to conduct the survey on LSF in the Opinin Polls section, so everyone can see the results
