1m Side Arm' for laser scanner tripod
Easy to mount 1m sliding 'Side Arm' for laser scanner tripod c/w with counter balance.
This gives the ability to scan at 90deg to the tripod, giving better access for scanning positions in hard to reach areas i.e. over handrail, over manholes or within tanks/vessels through side nozzles.
Carry bag included 1200mm(L)
Strong tripod needed (15kg max load plus) this can be supplied if required

Does this cause registration issues? I know that the Faro knows when it is upside down but does it freak out when it is sideways like that?

You would need to turn the inclinometer off in Scene during the egistration and dont use this scan as a reference scan!
We use this technique all the time and to survey hard to see areas such as lightwells and shafts etc (H&S RAMS Docs all agreed!!!!)
