We have involved in an laserscanning survey of a commercial building.
The space is empty and openspace, and there are no risk at all in performing the survey.
Btw, the landlord is requesting a Risk Assesment Document.
Does anybody has a template of such a document?
Could anybody share it?
thankyou

Re: Laserscanning risk assesment
Just imagine - how many bodies are tied up in - designing, producing and then ticking the boxes on this type of thing -
and I will say it - A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME and resource - if you are working on a oil rig or highly dangerous environment, yes. But come on an empty building ! Were is personal common sense?
Councils, Insurance, Government - all driving cost into operating/running a business
These types just don't care, or don't even think about it to be fare - as they have NEVER produced anything their entire working lives.
I have noticed that City Councils are now experiencing a new phenomenon called "institutional paralysis" as they can't do anything without a form being filled in to "Cover there Arse"
But that's is not even good enough these days. These types you find within organization like this are "Un-elected Timid little empire builders - they are like sand in a gearbox. With any luck it can't last. Less of them the better
OK don't Laugh - just imagine for a monument we some how gave these picks the power over us to require a "Risk" assessment every time you
1. Filled your vehicle with flammable petroleum based fluids
2. Had your morning shower - just think about it, confined space, hot fluids, slippery, impaired bodily senses.
Your TAXES hard at work - My GOD ! my morning RANT , feel better already ha ha

Re: Laserscanning risk assesment
I agree -a complete waste of time (soon we will have to fill one of these out just to order a coffee from Starbucks).
