Scan to BIM :) - Part of elevation

Post by james.still »

Hi,

Since starting at Point 2 we have completed quite a few projects and we are currently working on several. One of them is a vacant building, which is LOD 4.

This is a clip of the elevation, from Revit not CAD - although CAD is a deliverable. We strive to make our models as intelligent, accurate and clean as possible.

This image has not been tidied etc, this is from the 3D geometry.

:)

Will upload more when finished.

James,

brilliant model. Did you create Revit families or model-in-places? :)
IMO this facade is very good for modelers :)

Hi

95% of our models are families, parametric if possible too.
The only time we model in place is for a one-off item.

Hi James,

OK, that's fine:).
I was curious which techniques and which percentage you use for Revit modeling.
I'm aware that some companies are using more than model-in-place techniques than families.
That's a right Revit (BIM) model. I can't for the final result too! :)
