Manual Registration problem in Scene
Newbie needs help! Every time I try and do a manual registration and I select two corresponding views - those views disappear after a few seconds and I am left looking at the colored background and the scanner head locations but no planar photo image for me to click planes and targets. What setting am I missing. Driving me crazy as I have a very small amount of tweaks before I can move on.

Re: Manual Registration problem in Scene
Suggestions from my experience, but not necessarily a fix:
Avoid the split correspondence view (SCV) - instead mark targets in planar view. This is a legacy behavior of mine and maybe Scene has gotten more stable in SCV.

Re: Manual Registration problem in Scene
So you click on registration and are able to select the two scans you want to register together. After that is when the screens go blank?
When I click on the two scans for manual registration I get the second image below.
Once I select the Mark Targets button I get the first image below.
I then can mark the targets.
Are you seeing any of this on your end?

Re: Manual Registration problem in Scene
Honestly I prefer working in the old interface. The Split screen is much easier to work in. You may want to try it.

Re: Manual Registration problem in Scene
Hi All
You can of course bypass the Registration Tab and head straight to the explore tab.
Cluster your scans accordingly
open each scan in a quick view or planar view.
Manually identify the registration references (spheres, Checkerboards etc)
Once you have found all of the corresponding references for the cluster of scans Shift and Right click on the cluster and you will see that Operations/Registration/Place scans can now be found.
Just an alternative to the manual split screen type of approach
I hope that helps
