Re: User experience with Tx8 and Tx6
Hello Anil,
I'm the product manager for the Trimble TX6 and TX8 and I would be glad to answer any questions you may have. In general, the TX8 is known as a highly productivity scanner that's easy to use. Trimble high speed time of flight enables capture of 1 million points per second and you maintain greater accuracy and data quality over the full scan range compared to phase shift scanners.
Mohamed and Jacek, I'm very interested in learning more about your experience and projects where the TX8 is used. I would welcome the chance to discuss any projects you have done.
Best regards,
Gregg Jackson

Re: User experience with Tx8 and Tx6
Hello,
I've been looking at the TX6 as an option to carry out predominantly scans on building elevations and floor plans. Looking through the spec there is a lot that I like about the instrument, however my main concern is the 11kg weight doesn't make it particularly portable. Does anyone else find this an issue?
Kind Regards
Guido
