Which version of TBC do you use? I am pretty sure that you can do some work in TBC or even prepare data for further work in AutoCAD. It is possible to use CAD options to made drawings. If you have Laser Scanning Module you can create cutting planes and made 2D drawing on it. You can also make ortho images from point could or pictures and then import them to AutoCAD software. Ortho Images are metric so you will get drawings with correct scale.

In Export format you should heve RCP files in Point Cloud. It could be best option to export point cloud to Autodesk software.

Best regards

I would investigate Trimble Realworks. It will do the lot from importing scans / register / datum transfer / polyline 'slice' thru model for dwg export to a CAD package such as Autocad or Microstation) and then a scan explorer for picking off coordinates from images. Haven't been able to fully create or export features for an Autocad model, but for 2D plans, it works well.
