All,

I want UNBAISED veiws only!! LOL

We are predominatley a Leica user, but have interests with other instruments/software and are keen to know about general scanning projects.

So...which of the above conferences would you go to?

Like I say...unbaised answers only please!! :D

Hi Phil,

We are too are predominately Leica because they offer the best training and customer sales. We have been using laser scanning equipment and not once has any other company approached us to demo there kit etc. I find this very odd that other companies like Trimble haven't approached the small user sector. Even when I was at the University of East London the lecturer stated that they had even invited other companies to demo the kit and show the students but no one was interested apart from Leica, who I think saw the potential of letting the students use there kit and software.

Let me know if you do ever get to use different kit as for the conference im not sure as ive only ever been to Geomatics World.

Hi thrwerp

from only a slightly biaised position I would send people to each for differant reasons. Spar for a broard picture from all vendors and would sent a manager and a techy to the HDS one.
