BLK Data manager downloads empty files

BLK Data manager downloads empty files

Hi there,

Today, I made 60 scans outside with a BLK360, in the cold and almost rainy Paris suburbs.
30 minutes ago, I downloaded them to my computer using BLK Data manager as usual, but in the end they all are empty files, 0 ko! I tried to import them into Register 360, but I got a message of corrupted file. I did the same usual thing 2 days ago, without any problem.

I tried to download them onto my ipad, which gave me no bad surprises, scans are not empty... So I think I'll get them all from SyncServer hopefully by tonight.

Has this ever happened to you ? Any idea where this comes from ?

What version of Data Manager is it? There are issues with the newer version downloading only partial or empty files. I had to roll back to v2020.0.0 or 2021.1.2 to consistently get good downloads from our older (2017) BLK360. They started adding support for all theses other BLK products (About the time they updated all the computer icons for the applications) and that is when things started to get wonky

It was V 2021.1.2

I tried it again with new scans, but had no problem...
